Costa Etrusca

The district of the Etruscan Coast consists of the whole part of the mainland coastline affecting the towns of the province of Livorno, Piombino, San Vincenzo, Castagneto Carducci, Bibbona, Cecina, Rosignano Maritime and Livorno. It is so named for the many Etruscan necropolis that we can meet in areas between the Gulf of Baratti and Populonia. The coast is characterized by a low beaches and sandy Rosignano Solvay between north and the Gulf of Baratti, while most southern beaches generally golden color, ignoring the beaches of Rosignano Solvay and Vada famous for their beaches Blank. Further north, the beautiful promontories of Castiglioncello and Quercianella, marking the coast near Livorno, whose shoulders extend the so-called Hills Leghorn. If we continue to meet the southern promontory of Piombino, whose base is the city of Populonia, which divides the Gulf of Baratti by the same Piombino.
